In the event that you slip or trip and fall as the result of someone else’s negligence or failure to act, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries. Your slip or trip and fall may result from an uneven surface, improperly cleared ice and snow, a spilled liquid, or some by some other means. You may be entitled to sue for pain and suffering, medical expenses, homecare, handyman services, and loss of income among other damages.
Strict time limitations apply in any slip or trip and fall. If you don’t commence a legal action before the time expires you will likely lose your right to sue.
If you feel that you have been injured as a result of someone’s actions or omissions Injury Alliance may be able to refer you to an attorney in your region with experience in slip / trip and fall cases.
